PRESS RELEASE: Dr. Leo Casino to Dedicate Prison Library
Pittsburgh, PA. February 12, 2006.
Dr. Leo Casino, saxophonist, composer, writer and political activist, whose
documentary film "Return to the Hill" is a glimpse back at his native
Pittsburgh after years of evolving away from his own roots of struggle
-- will be the guest speaker a the Allegheny County Jail's Government
Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) graduation ceremony honoring the jail's
prisoners on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at 9 AM.
Dr. Casino will cite the prisoners for their accomplishments
in educationally helping themselves, and will dedicate the library at
the county jail in Pittsburgh.

In light of Thursday’s vote in which the GOP Congress will elect new leaders, I have decided to re-issue this poll in an attempt to learn whether those views have changed. more »
