Pombo has been called the most blatantly anti-environmental member of Congress.

Last year, for example, he took $25,000 from Alaskan construction companies as he began yet another push to open the ANWR.

In 2003, Pombo charged $6,000 worth of family vacation to the government: "Pombo was reimbursed $4,935.87 to rent the RV and spent $1,500.51 on a government credit card for "travel subsistence" during a two-week span from July 27 to Aug. 11, 2003, according to a Resources Committee spending ledger."

And his Abramoff connection? $7,500.
