Senate Republicans and House Republicans added insult to injury to Rosa Parks today by convening sessions of the House and Senate during the memorial service for Rosa Parks at the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, D. C.

And, the Republicans don't understand why only 2% of African-Americans support George Bush.

Well, duh....

Still researching this. But, apparently, some Republicans actually argued that Rosa Parks should not lie in state in the Capital Rotunda. Don't know which Republicans didn't want her to lie in state at the capital.

I don't think I'd like to walk into a federal prison and have to say to the other inmates, "Hi, my name is Scooter."

I know it is sadistic. But, then, being abused in prison is nothing compared to death and destruction perpetrated by the Bush Gang. Or, Bush Administration endorsed torture in Aboud Grahib and other places.

Jujitsu politics is the art of taking a political action for opposite effect. And, that is exactly what Mr. Bush did by withdrawing the nomination of Harriet Miers for the Supreme Court.

The White House wants us to believe that protecting client-attorney privilege and document protection in the White House is a cover up for caving-coward Bush allowing right wing whackos to lead him around like a poodle.

Don't believe all you've read and heard about Harriet Miers. President Bush lied when he said she is "the best qualified person in the United States for the Supreme Court." But, she is perfectly well qualified to serve on The United States Supreme Court. Her qualifications are not the issue, so don't be fooled into thinking this is a battle over her objective qualifications.

I have two reasons to oppose Ms. Miers and both of them are objective standards that should apply to any judicial nominee:

It wouldn't do any good to cheat using the  wireless earpiece since Karl Rove is too busy over at the grand jury trying to keep from being indicted!
