While Democratic Governor Blanco and Democratic Senator Landrieu were talking about rescuing people, Republican Governor Hailey Barber of Mississippi spent ten minutes on CNN talking about what he was going to do to looters.

Typical. Here's the Republican Priority:

1. Rescue weatlhy contributors
2. Secure businesses of wealthy contributors
3. Determine which rescue and recovery operations will make money for big bucks Republican contributors
4. Secure other property
5. Rescue poor people when there's nothing better to do

Cindy Sheehan has struck a nerve. It's David against Goliath. Bush and his supporters see Cindy Sheehan as a danger because she is focusing attention on the lies that got us into war with Iraq and the mismanagement of the war ever since.

(update) Even Republican Congressmembers are now bashing Cindy Sheehan. According to Representative Jack Kingston (R-GA), Cindy thinks that the war in Iraq is a "dog and pony" show. He made this statement on the Diane Reim Show, August 18th.

Bushwipe is so predictable. He used a recess appointment to make John Bolton ambassador to the UN because he cannot stand anyone challenging his belief that he is the Great Dictator Bush who must be obeyed. No wonder he's got a thing for Saddam Hussein - Bushwipe was jealous Saddam simply ignored the rule of law in Iraq and got away with it.

If John Bolton is a success after 17 months, I'll be first in line to congratulate Mr. Bush.
