Gather 'round the Irreverent Reverend for a little fun and an inspirational sermon from the Texas Pulpit.

Brothers and Sisters…We find ourselves today as spectators to an UNHOLY and PERVERSE deception being cast upon this Nation and Her people…angry and upset…demoralized and stripped of the dignity of truth and accountability of our elected officials rightfully afforded us all as Americans by our Constitution. Feeling helpless and frustrated because our voice has been stifled by the lies, deceit and corruption, unable to speak our disgust to the current administration for all our protests fall upon the deaf ears of the Usurpers, we incite within this dissent a new Revolution against the violations, the defamation, the slander and attacks upon OUR chosen leader’s character, service, intellectual substance and convictions and upon the violators and purveyors of this travesty of Justice, Democracy and Freedom!!!

George W. Bush…we cast you OUT! Through this election We come to reclaim our home from the grips of your vile, cowardly and soulless administration!! Through this election We come to repossess OUR Great House!!! WE THE PEOPLE come to once more ignite the torches of Liberty, to shine the Beacon of Freedom from the highest and holiest ground of this BRAVE AND BOUNTIFUL LAND so its truth shall leave no place to the darkness of despair…to rid our country and the world of all DESPOTIC TYRANNY!!!! To unify and heal from the wounds of the foul oppression OUR NATION!!! OUR BROTHERHOOD of ALL MANKIND!!! OUR AMERICA!!!! Brothers and Sisters with all of our MIGHT, with our God given RIGHT and with all of the FIGHT that burns within each AMERICAN PATRIOT let us once again cry out as a chorus of Angels each with our own courageous conviction and voice in the words of another Naval HERO of our nation who did also volunteer for battle in his country’s hour of need…John Paul Jones who so boldly did proclaim, “I have not yet begun to FIGHT!!!”

Brothers and Sisters…I, your humble servant, do beg for your forgiveness and the blessed forgiveness of our Creator…for on this day my passions have been uncontrollably enflamed…my heart, broken by the disrespect and distain for the truth of the current administration…my mortal soul corrupted and stained by the lies, the hatred, the fraudulent portrayals, the blood of the innocent, the assault upon our GREAT NATION by this subversive, unholy, nefarious, depraved, villainous and completely UNAMERICAN REGIME!!!!!!

Brothers and Sisters…Pray with me now! Let us together reach deeply within our hearts…to find a place of quiet resolve, a place of calm…a place of light…a place of peace and a place of eternal hope. Let us direct this pure and powerful energy to our two brave candidates and their families for their trial by fire has not nearly ended.

To Senators Kerry and Edwards and their beloved, we pray for courage, strength, wisdom and may sweet providence lead the way that they shall be victorious. We pray for the infirmed, the disadvantaged, the unemployed, the uninsured, to those lacking faith or means due to hardship and conviction through despair and to all we send our heartfelt compassion, our loyalty, our love and hope forever bestowed that all may persevere through these tumultuous times. For Hope is indeed here…and help is on the way.

Amen!

Brothers and Sisters…From the shattered lives of those who have survived the overwhelming effects of the hurricanes struck by Nature’s awesome power in Florida, let us all be shown the example we must now follow to rebuild our very Nation. Though this will be a daunting task indeed and as those lacking in Faith might believe us to be living in a dream world of fantasy and naivety we shall stand together confidently and TESTIFY TO OUR FAITH in the TRUTH of our Humanity!!!

Are we not the very incarnation of our Fore Fathers and Mothers and aspirations? Are we not the progeny of their suffering and pain, their hopes, their daring, their strength their compassion, their strength, their DREAM to hear the TRUTH, to live the TRUTH and yes, to even die for the TRUTH? For without truth, a voice bearing false witness is nothing more than a clanging bell in the wilderness…its avarice is swallowed by the vastness of the land that surrounds, and its call entices no one.

Brothers and Sisters…These are the very TRUTHES we have been taught to hold as self-evident since the forging of this great Nation. We as Americans must renew our heritage, attend to the wounds of division, append our laws for the benefit of all, and if necessary amend our Constitution so that America NEVER goes to war due to the betrayal of our trust by our leaders for their oppression of others and personal gain. That America NEVER allows our government to deny the divine rights of Liberty, Justice and Freedom to all of HER people whether they live upon her shores or across the seas in distant lands.

Brothers and Sisters…We must as Americans, as our ancestors did some how find the resolve to do after the Civil War, embark upon a great and permanent RESTORATION…a renewal of our basic and most beloved doctrines and beliefs to our selves and to all future generations to whom we leave our heritage. We as Americans must reach out to other nations of this Earth with whom we share to perform a RESTORATION of our commitment to providing aid, showing restraint, renewing treaties, and leading with diplomacy so that we might once again be that very Beacon of Freedom and hope to all! And most profoundly, We as Americans must perform a RESTORATION upon our own society so that we may NEVER be divided by matters of faith, diversity of culture, variety of ancestry, or difference of political principles!!!

Brothers and Sisters… We as Americans shall do this together as ONE NATION UNITED not because it is easy but because it is that which is most difficult!!! To grow beyond our human frailty to become a BETTER America, to become a STRONGER America, to be the living rebirth of the America of legend and myth for all of those past and present who have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of Freedom and to leave our American Heritage as the paradigm of HOPE, FREEDOM, LIBERTY and PROSPERITY for all the ages to come!!!

Brothers and Sisters…stand tall and proud with me now…cast down these shackles being wrought upon us by the current administration and contemplate with me these fitting words of HOPE spoken in 1860 by the Father of our first Restoration, President Abraham Lincoln…"Neither let us be slandered from our duty by false accusations against us, nor frightened from it by menaces of destruction to the Government nor of dungeons to ourselves. LET US HAVE FAITH THAT RIGHT MAKES MIGHT, AND IN THAT FAITH, LET US, TO THE END, DARE TO DO OUR DUTY AS WE UNDERSTAND IT."

Brothers and Sisters… Never give up on America… Be not afraid but empowered by this Restoration of America and Her people and NEVER give up on John Kerry and John Edwards!!!
