The Liberal Avenger

I haven’t done an MP3 post in a long time!

I stumbled across this one the other day:

Best line:

“Even my bible is stolen.”

  • Therefore the only way for a legitimate state to fight al-Qaeda is to create and fund a private, non-state military force that is also unaccountable.

My first reaction is to say that any non-state force is still accountable to its ...   more »

Mexico goes to the polls July 2

The outcome of the election is likely to have a profound impact on Mexican immigration to the US, but few American media outlets have succeeded in communicating the importance of the contest to the American public.

Obrador is the populist former mayor of Mexico City, and he is running under the banner of the center-left Democratic Revolution Party (PRD). He squares off against Felipe Calderon, former ...   more »
