The Quebec magazine L’actualité has a journalist, Katia Jarjoura, in Lebanon. She was in Cana last Sunday when Israel bombed a building, killing 60 civilians. She has started a war journal. Since it’s in french, I thought I could translate her first entry.

It stinks of death in Cana. The smell of decomposition sticks in your nose the instant you enter the village. I know, that headline sounds like the title for the kind of thousand page technothriller only sold on airport bookstands.
