This will just break your heart; please listen to what the
President of Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard had to say concerning
the rescue efforts in
Mary MacElveen!

Russert was trying to spin
things positive, and this man cut him off and said:
I'll tell you what the truth
is. The man who runs this building,
She called him on Monday and
said, "Son is someone coming to help us? Please send someone”.
He said, "Yes, Mama,
someone's coming".
She called him on Tuesday and
said, "Son is someone coming to help us? Please send someone”.
He said, "Yes, Mama,
someone's coming".
She called him on Wednesday
and said "Son, is someone coming to help us? Please send someone”.
He said, "Yes, Mama,
someone's coming".
She called him on Thursday and
said "Son, is someone coming to help us? Please send someone”.
He said, "Yes, Mama,
someone's coming".
The guy was a blubbering mess
by this time. Then he said "On Friday, she drowned. ON FRIDAY, SHE
DROWNED!" He totally lost it at this point. He was very upset and VERY
angry.
While the government did
NOTHING, they hamstringed everyone and anyone who could. They wanted to kill
these people and that's the truth.
