To the American People,

Last week, I wrote the above editorial for Vheadline.com where I put the question to my readers could this hurricane give the Bush administration carte blanche to invade Venezuela.  Today, I am astounded as I read the where US Warships are starting to make their way towards Venezuela.  If as I feared comes true where we will invade Venezuela, I am on Venezuela side and not the side of this criminal and corrupt government.  If that sounds in the least treasonous, just think of the many acts of treason that have been committed by this government.

Will oil-supply disruption give Bush carte blanche to invade Venezuela?

(Snip)

VHeadline.com commentarist Mary MacElveen writes: On October 30, 1991, several atmospheric conditions came together which was described by the National Weather Service as the “perfect storm.” This monster of a storm sunk the Andrea Gail along with her captain, Captain Billy Tyne ... Hollywood even made a movie starring George Clooney.

The reason why I ask if Katrina is our 'perfect storm' is because the oil industry took one on the nose when many refineries were hit by this monster storm.

  • This past June the FX channel aired a 'docu-drama' depicting this very scenario ... it depicts Port Fourchon (Louisiana) being hit by a category 4 hurricane, knocking out our oil supply.
