  • George Bush has been a disaster for jobs -- despite having his entire economic plan passed in the last three years. On Bush's watch America has lost 1.6 million private-sector jobs, making him the president to lose jobs since Herbert Hoover.
  • We are now 7 million jobs short of the prediction made by the Bush administration in February 2002 -- after 9/11, the tech bubble, and the recession.
