Dr. Gar Alperovitz, author of "America Beyond Capitalism: Reclaiming Our Wealth, Our Liberty, and Our Democracy" will be our guest for the hour at 5:00 PM EST Wednesday, January 19th, 2005. 

Dr. Alperovitz was previously Harrison Research Professor in the Department of Government and Politics and became the first Lionel R. Bauman Professor of Political Economy in July 1999. He is one of the principals now organizing the new Civil Society and Democratic Renewal Initiative in the College.
