I see allegations about financing and claims about people coming forward. But, who are they and where are they? I want to see names and statements that lead to more people coming forward and making more statements. Without that, all the photocopies of $29,000,000 checks in the wold will do no good!

I feel the same way, sorry to say, about the vague statements of Kerry "working behind the scenes". Frankly, I'm SICK of behind the scenes, behind closed doors, game playing politics. They are playing games with our civil liberties, with our voting rights, and with the lives of Americans sent to fight in this lie based war.

I said it before, I'll say it again. Bush could line fifty folks up in front of the White House with cameras rolling, take a machine gun and mow them down, turn to the camera, shrug and say, "they were terrorists", and Bush supporters would be okay with it. No trial, no evidence, just his say so. That's how bad things are. And they are blind to their own complicity and ignorance and hypocrisy.

I don't see Bush being removed from office, no matter what is exposed. Unless people wake up from this bizarre trance they are in, a thousand co-conspirators could come forward, complete with undeniable evidence, and he'd STILL stay in office. The repugs in office would unite to make sure nothing happened to their fuhrer, the Bush supporters would ignore the facts, as they already have on everything else, and fight against it, and the media sure as hell isn't going to do it's job and expose his crimes.

Disgusting, and heartbreaking, for anyone who truly loves liberty and justice.

It's not just our voting rights, Jean. Our entire system of checks and balances now lies in ruins. Separation of church and state is well on it's way to being nonexistant, with the zealot fundies gaining control and imposing their bigotted beliefs on everyone at pain of death. Our children face growing up just enough to be drafted to die in Bush's age of war crusades. And those we trusted to fight against all this have abandoned us.

We have lost more than a stolen election. We just lost our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Every death of every American who bled and died to ensure that a government of the people, for the people, by the people, has just been made a total waste. We no longer have a representative government for the people, it's for the corporations and religious zealots.

It's basically over with. They got away with it. Democracy or what we thought was democracy, lies in its deathbead. America will not wake up, she's in a stuper or worse yet, a coma. All the evidence in the world wouldn't change the outcome. We've been ripped off royally and there's nothing we can do about it. Watergate was petty theft while these past two general elections were grand theft arson - in broad daylight ! The whole world was watching but under circumstances and due to the fact we are who we are - the US of A, not the Ukraine, not the Republic of Georgia - nobody seems to care. Noone has the balls to stand up against the American Thug Government or maybe they're just watching and ROTFLTAO. I had dinner with a young lady from Peiking this weekend (lucky me eh?). At one point, she asked me "what's it like, living in the USA?" Needless to say, she was shocked with my lengthy relpy. She just smiled and said "I'm happy to hear that so many Americans are critical of their Government. This shows us that there is still some hope for the world." Americans need to start looking "over the fence". Look at some of these other countries, at the people and how they deal with Thugs. Patience will be necessary should we not want to get ourselves shot but we do need to get out in the streets to demand they give us our country back. If not this time, then the next time. What did they teach us in the Boy Scouts ? Be prepared ! We need to start by rediscovering our long forgotten muscles : strikes, protests and demonstrations as long as we are still allowed to.
