Rep. John Conyers and the Democrats of the House Committee on the Judiciary Sent a letter dated December 2nd, 2004 to Bush-Cheney Campaign Ohio Campaign Chairman Ken Blackwell who also happens to be the chief election authority in Ohio asking for a response to 35 issues pertaining to the November election.
They sent another letter the next day to Blackwell clarifying several points in the previous letter and inviting Blackwell to hearings on the Ohio elections being held by the Democatic members of the House Committee on the Judiciary.
Blackwell stood them up and didn't show up for the hearings. In fact, not a single Republican showed up because they all believe they are above the law and have no respect for Democracy or for the voters. Blackwell demonstrated his contempt for Democracy and the voters by waiting eleven days to respond to the letters. Then Blackwell sent a reply on December 14th, 2004 to the Judiciary Committee. In this response, Blackwell essentially said, "Screw you. I take my orders from Karl Rove. And, I'm not answering your damn questions."
Rep. John Conyers and the Democrats of the House Committee on the Judiciary sent a response to Blackwell the same day protesting the fact that Blackwell took almost two weeks to send a letter just to tell them that he doesn't have to answer their questions and so, he won't.
I can hardly wait for the response from the arrogant and corrupt Blackwell who believes he is above the law because he knows how to kiss Bush-Butt really well.
