Tumeroll: I wish you could see yourself as others see you. Your posts display a gross lack of intelligence. I have Republican friends and none of them would stoop to your level. For example, in this post you are trying to twist things around to put the blame on the Democrats. It makes you look small. Think about it.

Well you know what they say. When in Rome do as the Romans do! Hard to get the intellectual level up very high when all I read on this site is screed about Bush. How about actually explaining a single program that Kerry will enact that will help anyone other than the extra thousands of Federal and State government workers that will be hired. All iIhear when the guy speaks is "We can do Better" That is very short on detail don't you think?

Tumeroll: If you want to get the intellectual level up on this site just quit posting or for a start choose another word besides screed. It does not fit.
Kerry has not said anything about hiring thousands of additional federal and state employees. Bush is the one guilty of increasing the size of government so much that even fellow Republicans are complaining. I will give you some detail on "We can do better". Kerry plans to reduce the tax cut for the top 1% and spend that money to help small business and children. BTW if you are really smart you should know that no politician is going to reveal many detaills of his plans prior to an election. They only make promises like Bush did in 2000. Talk about a flip flopper. Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Republican of the week: Waco district clerk and thief Joe R. Johnson

With all the plans that John K has taxing the top 1% at 100% would not be enough money. Just add up all the programs he has proposed. Besides why exactly does the goverment have to help small business or even children. America was founded on the premise that people are strong enough to do it themselves. It is only when governmebnt has gotten involved do we have run away costs and worse problems. Over my life time, I have raised a wondeful daughter, gotten her a college education always had a roof over our heads and never ever went hungry, poorly clothed or wothout medical care and generally had an income considered under the poverty level and we never needed any assistance from the government. Better the government stay out of people's lives.

Tumeroll: I was born a charity case in the county hospital. My family recieved a Christmas basket from the local welfare agency in my early years. The early thirties were tough years even for a child. I graduated from a state university because I could never have afforded a private school. I am now retired and receive Social Security. My medical needs are taken care of by an HMO. I have worked since I was 10 years old but I still appreciate what the US government has done for me. It is debatable whether I could have done as well without government help. Personally I do not know any Republicans who complain about similar help they have received.

Oldman:
You don't understand. Let me see if I can explain it to you. The Red States get $1.25 back for every $1.00 in federal taxes they pay. This is good because it helps good decent hard-working Republicans. The Blue State get .75 back for every $1.00 in federal taxes they pay. This is also good because Democrats are lazy and good for nothing. They were put on this Earth to make the life of Republicans easier. This is why Republicans claim that people who work full-time at jobs that are necessary for the functioning of society do not deserve a decent place to live, health care, or good schools for themselves or their families. And, if they try to form a union so that they can demand decent wages, that's "socialism". Socialism is evil. You see, the only truly admirable work is sitting on your ass in a lounge chair opening investment statements while illegal aliens mow your lawn, clean your house, do your laundry, and maintain your pool. These workers have to be illegal aliens because that allows you to pay them less money, and avoid paying social security tax on them because the social security system is socialist. Socialism is evil. But, poverty, a high-infant mortality rate, a high illiteracy rate, lots of high school dropouts, 20% of the population having no health insurance, and more people in prison then any country in the world are good because they prove that lazy people don't get a free pass in The United States of America, nosirree! Of course, the only TRULY WORTHY people in the United States are those who are born into wealth like George W. Bush. Those who inherit their wealth have been blessed by God and have a special obligation to keep all of the morally inadequate working classes in line. Bush is especially to be admired because he has slacked off his entire life. As he so boldly pointed out, "You can be a 'C' student like me and become President of the United States." And, then once he became president, he has done a splendid job of transferring wealth from the morally inferior working classes to God's chosen people, those who have inherited their wealth. The fact, Oldman, that you were born in a charity hospital simply proves that you and your entire family are morally inferior. If you were a moral person, you would have dropped out of school, and committed a number of serious crimes. You are giving people that are inclined to be uppity delusions of grandeur, and that is against Godd's plan. Don't you realize that you have deprived God's Chosen People the opportunity to acquire more wealth by locking you up in one of their prisons? Geoff poor poor Geoff, I sense a serious bitterness on your part. Didn't quite reach the gold ring on the merrygo round when you were a kid? or maybe got pounded one time too many in dodge ball? Give a man a fish for food and he will return tomorrow for more fish but teach him how to fish and he will be self sustaining. That is the difference between Democrats and Republicans, we both care but Democrats want to create and maintain an underclass while Republicans see all people as being capable of being self sustaining. Sorry that you do not see yourself that way but keep trying maybe one day you too will learn how to fish.
