Finally someone is throwing the Republican's words back at them in a way that people will listen. To succeed in Kansas you have to speak their language. Kansas has been going downhill since god knows when. Every 2nd man in Kansas was a farmer back in the days. They don't say much but boy, when they do say something it hits the spot. I believe H. Dean knows this, at least it looks like he does. There's nothing wrong with Kansas. There's something wrong with the bible belt. A very tall man toting a bible was able to mobilize Jayhawks all across the state once upon a time. Not that H. Dean needs to tote a bible, but that is one sure-fired way to get some attention while speaking their language. Poverty is one of the most powerful words there. Jobs. Social Security. Jobs. The weather. Most importantly, Kansas is really Rural Route Kansas. One visit to Topeka won't suffice. Lawrence is a good place to start. The Dems need to take the good word into the Rural Route areas. A difficult task to manage, but do-able.

AMEN brother Jayhawker! Kansas is great, BUT, there is something wrong with the "framing" of how the news is presented in most cases. I'm just glad that Dean went to Lawrence for his speech.
