"We must have a foreign policy that is both strong and smart. Yes, the Republicans have been strong, but they haven't been smart. And the policy is one big mess, everyone knows it."
- Senator Chuck Schumer

I feel for Cindy as a mother losing her son. I feel for all the mothers in america that have lost their sons/daughters to this war. We should remember these soldiers that have lost their lives. They didn't die FOR their (our) country, they died serving their country in a foreign land. We should honor their decision! Cindy should honor her sons decision! It was his decision to join the military. HE decided to go to IRAQ! Unfortunately, and sadly he was killed. He was a MAN! He made a decision. A decision that ultimately cost him his life, but it was HIS decision. Not mine, not Cindys', not the Presidents'. No one forced hime to join, no one forced him to sign on the dotted line. He did it himself. I don't agree with this war, but we must support our troops in THEIR decision to join the military and SERVE OUR country.

You people are so ate up. I grew up in a military family. I have so many friends that are currently serving in the Marine Corp and that are in Iraq this very moment............and you people ask for what? so that piece of Crap cindy sheehan can act the way she does without getting shot. It is awful that these boys and girls are dying over there, but it is war, people are going to die. My Father, who has been in the Marine Corp for 29 years could die and yes i would be devastated, but I would be so proud of him and all that he and his fellow fallen brothers have done for this country. I would be so ashamed if i was her son. because i know that if my father was killed in action and if my mother, sister, brother or myself acted the way sheehan is acting my father would come up from his grave so fast.
Why don't all you people that hate America and don't support our military go and move to Iraq, why don't you go join their military? How do think our country is were it is now, you don't think that there were wars? what about the civl war? WWI and WWII? What if we hadn't step in, we could be ruled my German Nazi's, there could still be slaves. Your son's and daughter, mothers and father's all volunteered on their own free will. Some might have signed up before 9/11 and thought that they would do their time, get some money for college, have something great to put on a resume, but no 9/11 happened. So we ended up going to war. And all of a sudden the people that joined for the wrong reasons are complaining because they are being shipped out to Iraq to fight in a war. and they act like it is a big surprise. do people not realize that that is what the military is for? Most people that join luck out and don't have to go to war. shit happens. Our military is our defense, it is what keeps us free. God Bless our troops!

You need to go back to school and learn more about the history of this great country and what democracy means...most of the soldiers are not from wealthy backgrounds nor do they have the greatest education. My heart goes out to them because they were blinded by the recruitors who deceived them into thinking they would be fighting a war for this country. I support the soldiers and their families that's why I want to bring them home ..most of these "young" men don't know why they are over there..if they did we would be in trouble.

JessicaSmith,

You poor blind fool. Arn't you old enough to remember that during WWI and WWII it was the US that was attacked. Of course we did attack Mexico and steal much of their land. I guess in your way of thinking that was the proper thing to do. At least Cindy Sheehan has brains enough to know that the war in Iraq is not worth one American life. BTW have you noticed that most people are starting to agree with me and not you? Makes you feel bad, doesn't it. Serves you right for voting for a moron.

JessicaSmith:

Actually, we are patriots who are protecting our country from George W. Bush in the same way that some German patriots opposed Adolph Hitler in the thrities and forties.

Just because you have armed forces members in your family doesn't make you any better or worse than anyone else. Good people exist in all walks of life and bad people exist in all walks of life. We have mostly fine people in our armed forces. But, some of them are evil scum, just like everywhere else.

One thing I know for sure is this: If you support George Bush, you are either evil, greedy, and corrupt like Bush or you are a delusional fool.

Let me put it this way: If we were in Nazi Germany in WWII, you would call me a traitor for not supporting your Fuherer.

So, to be blunt: Go pound sand. We're not interested in your hateful attacks. Although, I mustt admit that I am happy to see that the Church of Bush cultists like you keep getting meaner and nastier as the weeks and months go by. That's a good indication that the Bushies are getting desperate and that the only support he has left is the hardcore.

Here's a little assignement for you: If George Bush put a machine gun up to a window in the White House residence and started mowing people down, what reasons would you use when you claim that mowing down passersby is a good thing?

The Michael Moore Liberals have sunk their talons into Ms. Sheehan; I don't think she knows what she is doing. And, everyone knows she is way out of touch.... funny thing is the liberals think she is making some kind of impact.
