I just found this site and I am happy to join. Since bush was selected, I have become a news junkie. I am addicted to C Span and to Democratic Underground. I don't need to tell you that I am thoroughly disgusted with this administration and their lies. I was against the invasion in Iraq from the very beginning and can't believe there are still so many supporters of bush and his cabal. Hopefully there will be many on this site who feel as I feel.

My name is Kenny and I live in Hayden, Alabama. I'm a yellow dog Democrat and C-Span is one of my favorite networks. I especially enjoy Brian Lamb's Washington Journal program. I am fully in favor of impeaching and removing George W Bush and trying him and Cheney as war criminals.

The public is really angry at the bitter partisanship the Republicans brought to Washington. Unfortunately, the Democrats are being blamed for it as well as the Republicans.

We need to move forward on the backlog of things that would have been implemented long ago if Gore were in the White House.

And, we need to do oversight of Bush's conduct of the war and many other things. As new information comes to light, if the public rises up to demand impeachment, etc., it will happen. I support trying Bush, Cheney, and Rumseld for their corruption and as war criminals. But, if the Democrats go there in January, the next two years will be taken up with partisan fights and the Democrats will not have an opportunity to demonstrate that we can do a better job.

The American people despise Bush, and want him impeached.

Welcome to this web site. You will find it very intertaining. A lot of news and a lot of right wing nuts. Their posts are good for laughs.

I tend to agree that we need Dems need to refine our message, but I truly think it needs to be a strong liberal/progressive message.

Win, lose or draw Progressives and Democrats can only be truly successful (I am talking New Deal level majorities) when we present clearly articulated progressive messages. This scheme worked well everytime it has been tried.

In the 1930s with FDR progressives had such large majorities that opponents were loath to even speak their opposition -- they opposed his policies but they thought they'd lose their jobs if they admitted their opposition to the New Deal. Interestingly this was especially true in "Red States" where the Agricultural programs were their salvation. The GOP couldn't even try a modern filibuster since they had so few members in the Senate.

In 1948 Truman went liberal and blew Harry Wallace out of the water. Strom Thurmond actually received the second highest number of electoral votes.

In 1964 LBJ and friends trashed the GOP. Go back an look at the horrible situation they were in. His great society was the culmination of many hard-core (Henry Wallace) New Deal ideas.

In 1976 Carter rode digust to victory but never really had anything resembling a mandate. As a successful moderate southern Democrat governor he only was willing to go so far. I actually worked for Carter when you could be on a first name basis with his entire campaign.

In 1992, Clinton another southern governor was again only so willing to go left. He managed to make progress by dint of his superior political skills.

As you can imagine I like politcal analysis and argument. I live in a red spot in a blue state so posting here helps maintain peace at hime.

I am exactly the typical GOP demographic: WASP. Why I even attend a Souther Baptist Church. But I like JE Carter actually read the Bible that we claim to beleive and I sincerely think that Christ would be a liberal democrat who is absolutely horrified at what is said and done supposedly in his name.

I found Radioleft in early 2004 when left leaning radio was hard to find. I got cut off from Radio left broadcasts when my employer closed all of our streaming portals for security purposes. I keep from going crazy with Podcasts.

Due to family agreements, I don't get to contribute financially to political campaigns but I plan to use my limited artistic skills to convey new Progressive messages. I feel it is important to illustrate what America could look like if Repubs are stay in control much longer. I foresee a book that looks and sounds a lot like the Jungle set in an America where the GOP has taken Pro-life to its logical (if extreme ends).

I am going with the Liberal fiction since I feel that much of liberal commentary gets obtuse and abstract. Fortunately, with the help of folks like Franken and Moore Liberal books are getting more marketable/readable. I remember a couple years ago at Borders there were numerous Right wing attack rags (most just barely written at an 8th grade level) and on the left you had Noam Chomsky (a brillant guy, but a tough read). I know tough reads I read books on theoretical physics for fun.

It amazes me that my GOP father-in=law isn't absolutely furious with the Bush adminstration for outing a CIA agent. I am especially amazed since he spent his entire career working for a certain agency located at Ft. Meade MD.

Right now working in Germany, in science research, but have a reasonably long past of political activism, on different levels.

:-) If my comments go to extreme lengths and have convoluted language occasionally, consider that most of the time when I post it's 2-3 AM over here, I'm working at night, analysing data, and get so fed up that I take some time off to read blogs.

Oh, and I'm generally a liberal (surprise surprise) - worked for any number of organisations from Amnesty Intenational to Seeds of Peace, got arrested during the antiwar campaign in Britain, etc.
However, I have almost always left organisations in the end because I found that "left-liberals" can be as hardheaded as conservatives about their own pet issues and stifle debate - so I have my own comfortable group of friends across the whole political spectrum and across the globe, whom I like simply because they can sustain a reasonable argument and believe in listening to others' points.

Supposedly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Art appreciation is also...all art is valid as expressions of passion and creation. Come to think about it, all living things are artists, In the sense, that they create images and reflections of their being, (think of fossils, for instance ... the art of nature, and who created that)!

Any art that a species creates using a tool or materials, even if only a print of ones presence on earth, becomes an expression. This basic definition of art, reflection of being, makes all attempts valid and equally important. Whether you like the work or not, is up to you!

My dream for the world is peace, health, and prosperity! I really do not see why we can not all get along. Freedom to be ones self, while not stepping on someone else's toes, seems so logical. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" makes perfect sense. Please, we owe our children a healthy world. What greater a gift?

I have been concerned with politics since I was in Junior College and headed a tax base election committee for the college.

Altho I have not been an activist--I seem to not have the energy these days--I think it may be time for me to be more involved. I am extremely distressed about the state of affairs these last 15 years or so. The GOP's treatment of the Clintons and the disastrous current administration have offended my sense of justice so much that I feel I can no longer stand by and watch. This most recent FEC situation was the last straw for me. I am tired of the brazen, outlandish, self-serving behavior of these so-called world leaders. I don't understand how people can not realize the damage that is being done to our country, our civil rights, our children...

I'm new to blogging, but I do post on other websites with articles, opinions, etc, so this doesn't seem too different.
I'm a veteran, and I can't believe the condition of our country! It's going down the tubes to hell in a hurry. Bush & Co, the Neo-cons, and the Globalists are destroying, not just America as we once knew her, but the economy of the entire planet, with the sole purpose of running their own, huge version of dictatorship. They claim to be bringing "democracy" to the world, but it's the strangest damned version of democracy I've ever seen! Their definition of democracy isn't the same as yours and mine. -- I've learned that when they use a term, it means exactly the opposite of what you I understand it to mean. I'm sure all of you have noticed that.
It has come to the point where I realize that we either stand up and fight with a fury now, or go down with whimper into slavery. We're at the tipping-point.
Actually, we're a heart-beat away from living in a dictatorship. Bush once actually said that running this country would be easier if he were a dictator. (Freudian slip?) (That's a parphrase.) The thing is, we all realize that he really WANTS to be the dictator. And, running amuck like he is, breaking every national and international law he can find, he's making a great start. He's waiting for (the already planned) next 9/11 so that he can declare martial law and run the whole show as dictator. [Actually, Cheney is running the show.]
We have to stop them, no matter the price.
And, it has been left for us, the average person on the street to get the job done, because our illustrious Congress people have watched, and even helped to implement dictator Bush, instead of carrying out their "advise and consent" responsibilities, and keeping the executive branch and military in check as they're supposed to. It's been 5 years of Bush's hell, and Congress seems to just now be noticing that "something isn't right here."! DUH!

I totally agree with you; it is the common person who is going to have to rise up from their lethargy, their siren's song of materialism played by the corporate marketing musician, and shake off the sleep out of their heads! However, do you really see this happening? WE must become very vocal. Signs must go up in our front yards. Write slogans or put website addresses on our car windows like those who put "for sale" info. Wear T-shirts with information. There is one half of this country who has NO CLUE what is going on, because the media is complicit in keeping us in the dark.

Then, I believe, we must go out two by two, just like the missionaries of a couple of churches we know, have a platform and a set "evangelistic" message, and bring it door to door before the next election.

(Internet focused radio has been a dream of mine since, at least '99' ... really glad to become more aware of what is happening now. and who is doing it. My life has been a bit on hold and dreams waylaid ... a bit sidetracked by a 35 year old daughter who has been in critical condition, as a chronic state since 12. She is registered with Loma Linda Hospital as a double transplant candidate. As a reminder ... please remember how important transplants can be to a family ... saving a life, thanks to a spirit where a life was lost ... extending life for another ... in my daughter's case a very beautiful, intelligent, talented mother with a 12 yr. old son who adores her. Here in CA we put a pink sticker on our Dr. License. Think about it ... please.)

YOU blame the Bushes, Clintons, Republicans, Democrats, the Senate, the House, and The Media. ENRON, Global Crossing, Anderson, Ahold, Halliburton, affirmative action, equal rights, the Palestinians, Al Qaeda. And Syria, North Korea , Saddam Hussein and Iraq. The list of Evil Doers blamed is endless in this culture.

YOU are responsible for every death of every American in the middle east and every citizen of those countries killed in these illegal wars.

This is OUR culture. OUR Republic. OUR Democracy and the Evil Doings of those persons and entities are but symptoms of a government now being run by and for the benefit of the corporate rich and their ideological Brownshirt thugs of the Neo-Christian White Right.

When people in those countries abroad challenge the façade of American humanitarianism you are shocked and outraged. Then YOU complain and moan about their lack of appreciation of our charity. But YOU DO NOTHING to find out the truth or to correct what this corporate owned government is doing.

That's right YOU: succumbing to deep mental sloth, YOU blindly accept the corporate owned spew that is called news. While lie after lie is revealed by in-depth analysis and revelation only finger tips away, you abdicate your civic responsibility and allow the this illegal administration to rob both you and your neighbors of a decent way of life and the rights guaranteed under our Constitution.

YOU don't get out the vote in your local, state or federal elections.

YOU don't organize in your own neighborhoods for more safety or better living conditions and better public education.

It does not require a degree in economics. But evidently it does require a falling stock market, higher and higher unemployment, less job benefits, tighter lending, more layoffs and firings, the disappearance of a budget surplus and the attempt by a greed driven, power lusting, super rich politician in the White House to get the message into the THICK, BRAINWASHED heads of the American public: Those who own and/or represent Corporate American are bad for you.

They are worse than the West Nile Virus or the Avian Flu. They have no interest in your welfare or the welfare of your children, your aging parents or your hopes and dreams for a decent, safe and secure future. You are labor or war fodder, (I hope you notice that you are being fired ---laid off --- at a higher rate at the same time they are waging a war to get more oil to fuel the Corporate Greed Machine!)

The Republican Party is just what it is: A class of the white rich, greedy males and their co-dependent women. A political organization that is class racist and sexist: It supports racists like Trent Lott and tolerates and uses the Colin Powells and Condoleezza Rices as house and field servants but discriminates against the social and economic rights of the average woman and everyday person of color.

The Democratic Party is a party of cowards. Pretending to be the party of opposition it bows to every warmongering campaign waged by the Republicans. It acts as apologists when the Republicans wage racist and class discrimination against middle class and working people. It does so because it has become no more than the brother party to the Corporate Greed Machine and you know this and still you pretend.

You are a consumer of overpriced, poorly constructed junk made by slaves in nations that oppress, suppress and exploit their poor. That produces a mass food supply that makes you obese and quicker to die.

When the large corporations find it tough getting more and more profits, the executives steal what profits they have accumulated and declare bankruptcy and petition the government (that is US by the way,) to bail them out.

At the VERY SAME TIME, they hire lobbyists and politicians to restrict your VERY SAME RIGHT to fail in the small business and personal arena ... you know, give it a shot at having your own small business, or try to get ahead or live a little better with credit they mass market to you, while trying to make a living on reduced wages ... by passing laws denying you the same bankruptcy laws they are using to pay off the corporate executives.

They continue to maintain "right to work" laws in every state they manage while busting every union contract they can. These are YOUR leaders.

() To understand the Civil War you must understand the economic system of Slavocracy:

SLAVOCRACY, (a name coined for the bizarre pretense of that culture in seeing itself as a post-Grecco descendant,) was an agrarian based economic and social cast system which used slavery as it's prime means of production and was antithetical to northern industrial development of the US. That being a social and economic system based on labor unions and guilds and crafts and the development of a middle class specific to the creation of an 'advanced,' scientific culture. Those that owned the northern system had to destroy the Southern system in order that the US capitalist system would succeed, that is, advance.

You may argue, as did the theorists of the South, that `free society' of the Industrialized society was barbarous and in the end far more cruel to humans than slavery, but then, slavery offered no chance at freedom, either to the slave or the keeper, that is the white yeomanry; you know, their progeny being those people you despise who drive around in pickups and watch wrasslin' and who continue to fly the Confederate flag and pray that they will have those "States Rights" once again.

The truly asinine fact being, that those white yeomanry were little better than chattel to the Slavocrats who viewed themselves as ascendant royalty much more akin to the royalty of England, than kin to the overseer class they used to keep Africans in place and as a means of production. The yeomanry had about as much a chance as becoming plantation owners and nobility as did their ancestors in England becoming Royals.

And while keeping the state of the union in tact was essential to both the security of the US, (preventing another Imperialist war with England --- the Counter Revolution to our Revolutionary War against then, King George), and in building the vast fortunes of the industrial capitalists and the basis of our current middle class, there was also a very strong "humanitarian" impetus to free any human held in bondage according to our skewed but nonetheless noble principle that All 'Men' Are Created Equal.

Had not Slavocracy been overthrown, my defenders of States Rights, you would be drinking commercially canned mint Juleps from a convenience store where you work part time in your shanty and pissing the residue in an outhouse somewhere down near the Swanee River.

I am fearful of the path gw bush is attempting to take the Country on. There are too many parallels between bush and Hitlers' rise to power. America is finally waking up to the bush propaganda and the timing of his "Terror Alerts". The announcement of the Troop withdrawls in Iraq is due to the outcry of the American people speaking up about bush's handling of Iraq and also I think pressure from the Republicans, aware that the November Elections could go very badly for them. We must vote the Democrats back in so we may have an honest investigation into 9/11, the 2000 and 2004 Elections and bush's deceit about the reasons for attacking Iraq. Once all is set right again, vote all out and start fresh to send a message that Congress works for us and if they do not do their jobs, no second term.

Just call me the sand in your oyster. Maybe if i can cause you to think rather than just rant you may come up with a few ideas that will then allow for a rational discussion. Just being against something never won an election. If you want to win you need to get your leaders to put forth an understandable set of ideas and programs. if you want socialized medicine, say so don't walk around the edges. If you want to pull our forces back within our borders, say so. If you want to open the borders and grant all current illegals here in the country amnesty, say so. If you are liberal, say so don't hide behind the word moderate. It has long ago lost it's ability to confuse. Behonest and get your leaders to honest also. Be what you are and wear it proudly.

At the end of World War II, David Truskoff returned to his hometown of Rutherford, New Jersey after being discharged from the US Navy with honor, commendations and dreams of a peaceful world. The naiveté was short lived.

The people in control of the Republican Party took over their party and shoved it to the right.

While, I understand the sentiment of creating another party, that isn't the most direct route.

I am in favor of supporting third-party candidates anywhere they can actually be elected. But, it is misguided to run third-party candidates in races where they have zero chance of winning. It makes much more sense to hold Democrats accountable and beat the one's that don't get the job done in Democratic primaries.

I will support third-party candidates where they can win - but not where they have no chance. In that situation it is much better to be the environmental group or the better public education group that provided the margin of victory because that is what gives you power and the ear of elected officials.

Having said that, non-partisan grassroots voter education is a good approach because if Democrats pick up the issue and run with it, great. If the Democrats don't pick up the issue, a third-party candidate will and more power to them.

HOWEVER, I want to focus attention in a slightly different direction. Those who demographically should be Democrats vote at a lower rate then those who are demographically Republicans.

So, the biggest issue is not how scummy the politicians are, but, the fact that so many people simply don't bother to vote.

When the right wing gets their voters to the polls and we don't, the right wing will win elections even though they don't have a majority of voters.

And, when the left votes in a smaller percentage than the right, who can blame candidates for moving to the center and to the right when the people on the left are either not showing up at the polls or are voting for Ralph Nader?

Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona, where we hear our progressive voice Air America radio station, KXXT has been bought out by a right-wing "christian" group, and will be silencing our voices. I am outraged; it is time the airwaves were owned by the people, and not just those with the most dollars. The shroud of silence is once again falling upon us. I believe we all need to put signs in our front yards, and write messages on our car windows to get out the news, and so that others see how many of "us" there really are. And folks, we must be missionary in our endeavors over the next 11 months to make sure we kick out every single extremist right-wing fascist in our government, and save our country! We need progressive leadership, with an eye for the future of our country and a cooperative place in the world. To restore the hope of liberty and justice for all!

Hello - as a former human services professional I've learned too well the control imposed upon people who are either born or driven into poverty by a system which requires a certain percentage of unemployment & impoverishment as the means of controlling labor costs and maintaining elite power. In working with the disabled, minorities or impoverished people one realizes that simply helping individuals does not correct the problems because they are systemic. We have a class structure that few individuals can overcome. If we are serious about problem solving, we need to overhaul this system from the inside out because as it is right now, it is structured to preserve the status quo. We have a new century. It's time to advance to a more civilized plateau and take care of our people, our environment and our planet and somehow control the primitive base behavior of those who seek power for their own selfish interests.

It is time to show we appreciate all the work being done by this Administration to rewrite history. You know, we, the great unwashed, think that history takes care of itself. Well, I’m here to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth. History is hard work. It demands constant attention; otherwise, people could start believing anything. Goebbels understood this when he was rewriting history some sixty years ago. In fact, most successful leaders, tyrants and dictators have learned the tender art of revising history should not be left to chance.

So as a matter of course, people are constantly reinventing history for any number of reasons—although usually it’s to avoid something if it’s recent history—like jail or perhaps exile or even worse! Those who take the longer view, are usually thinking in terms of their family’s reputation. I mean who want to say that I am the great grand grandfather of the guy who shot Lincoln? Unless of course, he lived in the south where he might receive a warm ovation. Or would it be quite proper to admit that “my grandpa shot the Arch Duke and started WWI.” It’s just not good taste. And who knows, there still might be a vindictive grand-child around with blood in his eyes or, what is worse, a pending law suit that’s been building interest for nearly a hundred years…….

Now, we should warn you that we have had presidents in the past who took pride in saying what they meant and meaning what that said. Guys like Truman who said something about ‘the buck stopping here.’ These ‘anomalies’ fortunately no longer exist; otherwise, there’d be a hell of a lot of revisionists out of work. Of course, that was a long time ago. Today, the buck stops anywhere but ‘here.’ Usually, the buck stops on some assistant’s desk, some lower level flunky who will say anything to keep his job or stay on friendly terms with his superior in the mistaken belief that falling on the sword will be appreciated. Because rewriting history can’t be left to say chance. In fact, off the record, one of the most popular courses in journalism today is Rewriting History 101. This was first noted in the Time of Nixon, and in response to Donald Segretti’s advertisement that spawned an entire new industry suggesting “An immediate need for people with good imaginations who could write and weren’t troubled by moral issues.” . The fact is that, today, any graduates who demonstrates an appropriately sufficient moral turpitude and a strongly anti-humanistic bent would seem to qualify and can be assured of several job offers at graduation. Just check the guys who work for all those Think Tanks that are nothing more than ‘fronts’ for a litany of clients with special interests..

Anyway, rewriting history has become one of government’s most lucrative jobs. This government is constantly engaged in it and the schools are having trouble keeping up with the demand despite all the money the NRA keeps pumping in.

Now, it’s poor old George Tenant’s turn. When it was his turn in the barrel, the issue was British Intel. Never mind, as long as we have our scapegoat de jour. It is not the point of this little light-mot to question why Mr. Tenant, a survivor who came from the streets of Brooklyn, has decided to play sap of the day and take a bullet for his selected leader. Nevertheless, my point is that if we have to sit through such sugar-coated melodrama, we should at least be able to get a chuckle out of it.

Thus, the reason for my proposal.

Would it not be fun to turn their “who me? You must be kidding…” Alfred E. Newman pose when queried about responsibility for any action behavior into a kind of political “Entertainment Tonight” for us who must endure ad infinitum the exquisitely shallow interrogations in prime time... We believe that part of our homage to such invention would have at its centerpiece my contribution to the future of political satire: the Hall of Blame.

This would be the only place in the known civilized world where those who are the targets of invidious comparisons would have an opportunity to talk back. In the Hall of Blame, all of the targets of the world would be gathered in waxen effigies with their sins posted for all to see. In addition, in our Hall of Blame, we would go one step further. We would permit the recipients of the blame game their own fifteen minutes in the sun to counter all of the claims, innuendos, half-truths, excuses and lies heaped on them. This will be the only place in the world, where they get to go on record. This of course, would drive the revisionists crazy and probably contribute to another bout of George falling off his chair and hitting his head and blaming the pretzels---Hmmm. A statue of a pretzel?

Kleenex, the sponsor, would hand out boxes to all those who pay tribute to our long-suffering leaders as they enter the Skotch-Gard protected interior realm consisting of the great Hallway of Suffering and Banality and the Inner Sanctum referred to as the Dodo’s Sanctuary for the Perennially Dysfunctional…. There, our illustrious leader can relive all of the threats and innuendos and half-truths and practice his lightning quick draws in front of the mirror or Cheney, if we can catch him above ground and he’s not protecting the good ole’ US of A from his underground abode. The only way I could think of improving on this is having Mrs. Cheney join him and then fill up the hole. But after an hour or two in this temple of self-indulgence, our compassionate leader can leave there inspired to go onwards and upwards ready to sacrifice any and all to his aspirations with no pangs of conscience….Even the Pope would be fair game to the White Knight seeking to lay down the gauntlet…

The Hall of Blame would be made up of everyone that Bush has blamed in the last three years. While this may sound like an impossible or perhaps extravagant venture, it would indeed help put things into some kind of perspective and we would better understand what poor George has had to contend with from the rest of the world.

Although this Palace of Tedium would be focused on the temporal, there would be an ethereal quality as well. For example, God’s word would appear everywhere etched or perhaps molded in polyethylene which again would only be appropriate since this material with other monomers and residues have filtered down through the waste stream to pollute our air and water for so many years and has been sanctioned by our president in return for the generosity of the Society of the Plastics Industry. (I don’t know why nobody has ever thought of this: Consider if coffins were made out of plastic diapers, hot dogs and Twinkies with their five hundred year half-lives, they would never go back to nature allowing us to keep Uncle Joes remains around a lot longer than if he were buried in conventional wood? )….

The excessive use of God will also be a highlight of the Temple inasmuch as such comparisons have been drawn before by the Reverend Billy Graham and his son, despite a little tongue-twisting by the Devil recently; that in combination with George’s own words in the pursuit of his Great Crusade reminiscent of that other crusade that wound up a disaster. To impart the necessary solemnity, it has been suggested that we ask God himself to intervene. However Charlton Heston was too ill and infirm to take the contract but perhaps it can be arranged to have his voice taped for posterity to lend legitimacy to the voice-over. Carl Rove is already working on thunder and lightning scenarios…

The second theme would be patriotic. There would be American flags everywhere of every size and description…. This would also spark a cottage industry allowing some of us to return work and having a beneficial effect on the economy since tax cuts contributed little outside of an immediate flurry in cruises to the South Pacific by those in the upper brackets. (For the rest of the world, the tax break was used to buy a pack of cigarettes or a round of cokes at Dairy Queen) . In all shots of George, the flag would be conspicuous just in case anyone doubted his patriotism. Not to leave anything undone, there would be a suitable tribute to George landing on the carrier Washington in his flight suit with the words “The War is over’ and showing everyone cheering…”as George rearranges his synthetic enhanced parts from the right to the left.

We would also want to feature a Saddam wing where effigies of Saddam would stand next to an appropriate rewrite of history where Saddam is shown picking up the ball from Osama. No mention of course of all the aid we gave this dictator who incidentally never changed his stripes when he was attacking his neighbors in Iran with poison gas and other toxins...Or bombing the Kurds in the north. Of course, there must be millions of Kurds asking why this government didn't think it was important to do something about the problem then? Of course, the Kurd’s message will not be translated so nobody will have a clue what they are talking about including the FBI or CIA..

Perhaps we could have one real Saddam and six imitators standing together in some waxen retro suggesting that people try to pick out the real Saddam before he blows you away with WMD. However, that might not fly since most people fifty and older might see this as a reconstruction of Ernie Kovacs and the Nairobi Trio sponsored by General Cigar.

Osama, also referred to as that ‘tall, Arab Geek”--all six feet four inches of him-- would be shown hiking over those mountains lugging his kidney dialysis machine with some kind of intellectually condescending explanation as to why the best equipped intelligence services and military in the world combined with limitless supplies of money and a $25 million award can't find a man that needs dialysis three times a week in a place where medical services are as scarce as hens teeth...If you posted this kind of reward to find Judge Crater, I wouldn’t doubt that you’d fill an auditorium.

...Naturally, there would be an entire wing devoted to both Hillary and Bill since until Osama came along, they were to blame for everything that went wrong in the world from fluctuations on the Richter scale to California's economic woes.....from the dangers of smoking cigars to a return of the Cold War.


We could even have an Axis of Evil wing where Bush could really show each of the dictators garbed in appropriate Nazi uniforms sitting on an electric chair powered by one of Enron's subsidiaries and Bush throwing the switch which, as you may remember, he became quite good at allowing him to sleep like an empowered baby at night.. There would be a balloon over his head saying something to the effect, “Better living through electricity…” or some other equally compassionate statement...
When you think about, perhaps we should have small areas for both the President of France and Germany's Premier. Who can forget that they were the ones who held up our invasion of Iraq because they didn't believe that intervention based on the available information was required until the Inspection teams had a chance to complete their work. Of course, this would lead to a very big statue of the team leader who was repeatedly and wrongly accused of so much as being a compliant tool of the enemy which, of course, he was not.

There are many other candidates for consideration at the Hall of Blame ranging from several officials in the Canadian government who referred to George as an idiot to the Mayor of London... They will all get their day in the sun if we get to go ahead with this idea...

No doubt, before the end of the day there will be many more in our Hall of Blame since the list of enemies of the US keep growing geometrically as our insults, innuendo and scathing remarks intensify arithmetically. In fact, if the current trend continues, we can expect the Hall of Blame to become one of the largest free-standing structures in the United States containing most of the leaders of the free world and certainly all of the democrats and independents and an honest author or two. This will stand as George’s contribution to the Free World. ..... The only group probably not represented will be the media since by their cowardly willingness to accept every bit of revisionist history, they wouldn’t qualify. Meanwhile, the rest of us at least will have a few laughs.
