The Washington Post says that “Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) told her caucus members during their weekly closed meeting Wednesday ‘that impeachment is off the table; she is not interested in pursuing it.’”
Not only should impeachment remain on the table, but this week’s revelations of millions of Americans being spied on should be increasing the calls for his removal.
And since no one believe Vice President Dick is anymore fit to be president and Spiro Agnew was, he would need to be removed as well.
So who’s third in line? Once the Democrats take control of the House and Pelosi is elected Majority Leader, she would become the next president. But if she believes that the United States can withstand three more years of Bush, then she should be removed as well.
