Here’s a list that is going around the Internet as a propaganda tool to get the U. S. to withdraw from the U. N. It shows that Middle Eastern countries, which receive significant foreign aid from the U. S. vote in opposition to the U. S. at the U. N. most of the time. The list is accurate, but I don’t see it as a reason to withdraw from the U. N. Instead, it is a reality check that should wake us up!

An open letter to my fellow citizens:

If I lived in the Middle East, I'd vote against the U. S at every opportunity as well.

If Middle Easterners liked us and supported our policies and actions in the Middle East, we would know they are seriously mentally ill,  unbalanced and have no sense of reality - which would make them extremely dangerous..

We should be thankful Middle Easterners don't like us because their dislike demonstrates they are far more sane and have a better grasp of reality than most Americans.

When you look at these stats, if you want to understand why we are so disliked, look in  a mirror. This has NOTHING to do with the U. N. The U. N. didn't make them dislike us, we did.

While you're at it, take a look at this: We are the 21st Century "Good Germans"

The brave members of our armed forces are performing admirably and beyond any reasonable expectation in Iraq. They have executed OUR - horrifically misguided and incompetent - orders with high motivation and skill.  What have they gotten for it? Many, like my cousin, are dead or permanently disfigured and disabled because we refuse to take responsibility for our government. Our valiant troops come home to discover that they only served 729 days on active duty while it takes 730 days to qualify for the G. I. Bill. We keep them on active duty in a war zone for extended duties that destroy their minds, their bodies, and their families. We have Iraq War veterans homeless on our streets. And, we do nothing except turn a blind eye and go shopping.

Every life lost, every injury, and every penny spent in Iraq will be our burden of shame for many years to come. Blackwater is not at fault. Neither is Halliburton. They are doing the job we sent them to do and following the rules WE gave them.

We have no moral authority left. We have known the horrors being done in our name for years and what have we done? Nothing! New revelations occur almost daily and all we do is yawn, roll-over, and go back to sleep.

When was the last time you confronted your friends, neighbors, and family members who support George Bush and his gang of war criminals? When was the last time you told them that you hold them personally responsible for Bush Administration atrocities? Bush didn't do this to us, we did it by giving him the power to act on our behalf and then refusing to hold him accountable. It's time for us to stop using Bush as an excuse and taking responsibility for what we have done.

What are you? A Good American or a REAL American?
