President Bush refuses to redeploy our troops and to bring them home. The House and Senate, believing they are over a barrell, plan to give Mr. Bush the $190,000,000,000 he has requested for Iraq.

I’ve said since Mr. Bush was a candidate for president that he is a third-grade schoolyard bully, in need of discipline to teach him responsibility. Unfortunately, George H. W. and Barbara Bush won’t take him to task. Sadly, they never have and never will. The task is left to us.

In the absence of George’s parents, I suggest that we invoke in loco parentis and provide that discpline ourselves. Parents ground reprobate childen and withold their allowance to discipline them. Congress must discipline the reprobate Mr. Bush.

How? Do what we would do with our own child when he won’t clean his room. Take away his allowance.

Give Mr. Bush $40,000,000,000, — approximately 3 months of his request. Then, tell Mr. Bush he won’t get anymore allowance until he provides a redeployment and exit plan for our troops. If it isn’t good enough, send him to his room to work on it.

When Mr. Bush behaves and cleans his room, he can have more of his allowance.
